Turmeric Tahini Dressing

This dressing is rich in antioxidants, thanks to all the beautiful spices. Additionally, tahini is a good source of calcium. Yields about 1 cup (16 tablespoons).

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup tahini
  • 6 tablespoons water (add more at the very end if a thinner consistency is desired)
  • 2 teaspoons sumac
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon coarse sea salt
  • Few pinches chilli powder
  • Juice 1 lemon
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil, liquid
  • Few grinds black pepper
