For Normal to Dry Skin

Instructions
Bring 4 cups of water to a boil in a pot and add lemon peel and fresh/dried herbs to suit your skin type. Cover and let steep for just two minutes, then transfer into a bowl.
Add your essential oils, then cover your head with a towel and sit directly over the bowl to breath in the volatiles. 5-10 minutes is usually adequate.
Notes
For dry, mature, sensitive, red or inflamed skin, great herbs to use are calendula, chamomile, rose, lavender, and comfrey (soothing, moistening, cooling), and great essential oils to use are Roman chamomile, geranium, lavender, rose
For oily skin, great herbs are rose, rosemary, red raspberry leaf and sage (astringent), and great oils to use are manuka, tea tree, cypress, eucalyptus, peppermint and rosemary
For blackheads or acne, great herbs to use are manuka, tea tree, eucalyptus, peppermint and rosemary (antibacterial, antiseptic, cleansing)
For combination skin, great herbs to use are calendula, chamomile and rose, and use Roman chamomile or rose oil
